Printashrink PTFE/FEP is dual wall heat shrink tube capable of withstanding extremely high temperatures. It consist of an outer PTFE layer with an integral FEP inner allowing encapsulation of components in pure fluoroplastic. It is transparent and available in sizes up to 11mm ID as standard. It can be cut as required.
This high temperature dual wall tubing consists of an outer PTFE sleeve which when heated to its shrink temperature of 330°C melts the inner FEP layer resulting in complete encapsulation of components in fluoroplastic which offers the very best protection against mechanical, chemical and temperature even in immersed conditions. As with all fluoroplastics, the end result offers a working temperature of -200°C – +260°C, excellent electrical resistance, as well as to UV, virtually all fuels, chemicals and solvents. It is also non-toxic, naturally non-flammable and has a very low co-efficient to friction and non-stick surface.
