Printashrink endcaps, breakout boots and moulded shapes are made from heatshrinkable materials and are available with or without adhesive lining. They are used for mechanical protection, strain relief and to provide a watertight seal. They are available in many configurations so please contact us for full details.
Endcaps are widely used to seal power and telecommunication cables, pipes, conduits and other cylindrical objects against moisture ingress, provide environmental and mechanical protection and prevent corrosion. They have an adhesive lining that melts and flows to provide a tight fit when heat is applied, and are often used in underwater, underground and outdoor applications.
Many other heatshrinkable moulded parts are also available with or without adhesive lining. These can be supplied in various materials (semi-rigid modified polyolefin, modified fluoroelastomer, fluid resistant elastomer), low fire hazard material will meet the requirements for most military, marine, mass transit and commercial applications
