A range of braided, heat-treated fibreglass sleeving supplied uncoated or impregnated/ coated with silicone or acrylic. They can withstand continuous operating temperatures of up to +300°C and short-term peaks of 600°C. Offering excellent thermal and electrical insulating properties, abrasion resistance and mechanical protection, they are flexible, fray resistant, UL approved, halogen-free and compatible with most impregnating varnish systems. Often used in heaters and other applications operating at high temperature with thermal overcharges such as incandescent lamps and domestic appliances as well as harnesses and hydraulic/ fuel conduits and which are subjected to high temperatures, relays, radio circuits, transformers, and lead/crossover protection on motors, some have a thermal classification of Class F and are available in several voltage grades, in many colours, and in sizes up to 50mm This extremely flexible, silicone rubber coated fibreglass braided jacket is self-extinguishing to VW-1 and offers excellent resistance to oils, fluids and many chemicals. Its thermal and electrical insulating properties make it ideal for applications operating at high temperature with thermal overcharges such as incandescent lamps and domestic appliances.
